THE TOP 5 REASONS THIS IS THE ‘MUST HAVE’ DRONE (FOR BEGINNERS) OF 2018
Sunday, September 23rd, 2018 | By Jessie Ryan
Did you know drones were originally designed with military tactics in mind? Drones have come a long way in design and have since been repurposed for entertainment, capturing panoramic pictures, first-person video footage, and as a pastime or hobby for those who want to improve their hand-eye coordination and motor skills.

Drones come in all shapes and sizes. Some are loud, heavy, and require more practice and money than others.
The SkyCamHD Drone Is Incredibly Easy To Use
This year, a company has come out with a pocket drone that is compact, lightweight, and possesses all the features of a top-of-the-line drone.

One of the major differences is that it’s much easier to use and less than half the cost. This is ideal for beginners or those who don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars. The list could go on, but here are the top five reasons the SkyCamHD is the must-have drone of 2018.
1. Control The Skies With The SkyCamHD Free App

The The Skycam HD Drone can be controlled with a free app compatible with any smartphone. The app can be downloaded onto your smart device by scanning the QR code in your drone’s manual.

Once the code is scanned and connected via Wi-Fi, the main interface will appear on your screen and that’s it! You’ll instantly have control over your drone with a touchscreen version of the app.

This includes two joysticks that control the direction and speed you wish to fly in. This makes the SkyCamHD very user-friendly and requires no experience as most people are already comfortable handling their touchscreen devices.
2. Light As A Feather
Other drones can be loud and heavy, but the SkyCamHD is compact and the material it is made from doesn’t weigh it down. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), if a drone weighs more than 55lbs, it must be registered.

For those who are wanting to fly drones for fun, as a hobby, or just for beginners who want to dip their toes in the water, the SkyCamHD won’t carry the same hassle and responsibilities as a heavy-duty drone.

And if you’re new to flying drones, even if you have an accident, the damage will be minimal. The SkyCamHD only weighs 85g (that’s just 3 ounces)! You can pretty much keep it in your pocket.
3. See The World In It
No drone would be complete without video capabilities. The The Skycam HD Drone has amazing HD quality and can capture clear, crisp pictures and video footage. The camera is located at the front of the drone and flies with headless mode, which means the drone will fly to the movements relative to the controller on the app.

You’ll always have amazing footage from different angles and perspectives. The app also allows you to save the pictures and any video footage to your device, so you can keep them for later, download it to your computer or laptop, or send them to your friends.

This is better (and safer) than having one person stand on a chair to take a group shot. Not only can everyone be in the picture, but they can actually have their own copy sent straight to their phone.
4. Easy To Use
The SkyCamHD is meant for beginners and advanced users alike. Anyone who knows how to text could successfully use the drone’s app.

To take off, the drone has a one-touch take-off button and one-touch safe landing button as well, so even if you’re in a panic and aren’t sure how to land, the app makes it easy for the drone to touch the ground or return to its home base.

Other features of the SkyCamHD can be located on the main interface:

5. Unbeatable Price!
Some drones can cost anywhere from $200-$400 dollars. That’s an expensive commitment if you’re new to the drone scene! The SkyCamHD costs under $100!

It’s a great bang for your buck. Considering all the features, its lightweight and compact design, it’s a surprise it doesn’t cost more.
The SkyCamHD Is Fun For Everyone
With summer just around the corner, backyard barbeques and pool parties could be the perfect opportunity to try out the SkyCamHD drone.

Capture the fun as its happening from way up high and record amazing footage. Take panoramic pictures of views you would never be able to see on your own two feet.

*Update: Thursday, November 1st, 2018* - Ever Since The Skycam HD Drone has been featured on popular news channels like CNN and Fox, they've sold millions of units and are releasing the last batch until November due to manufacturing overload. This thing is so cool! I didn’t even have a cellphone, much less a smartphone, for the majority of my life and now my son can LITERALLY fly around and take videos all from his phone! Crazy world we live in.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he acted like it was Christmas morning. I didn’t really get it until we actually used it outside and now I really want one! It takes really nice pictures and videos from places you couldn’t even imagine. He puts his in his pocket and I’ll be able to sneak mine in my purse ;) one

I bought these as gifts for my kids and had already ordered myself one before we even got the thing back on the ground…

My grandson loves this! I watched him crash it a few times before he got the hang of it, but it still works exactly the same. He’s been having a blast!

So cool! I actually can’t believe how small it is. It’s really light too but somehow doesn’t break, and trust me if it was going to break, it would have. Let’s just say I’m not the best pilot in the world.

My brother asked for a drone for his birthday, and my parents shrugged it off thinking they would all be ridiculously expensive. I did some research, found this, and problem solved. I was able to buy it myself so now my brother will be happy, and my parents still have to figure out a gift. Two birds, one stone!

I used this to make music videos for my school broadcasting class. Everyone was so surprised how well each clip turned out.

I usually don’t buy things online but this was so cheap and cool looking, I had to pull the trigger on it. Obviously don’t usually post reviews or ratings either, but I had to say something about this one. So freakin’ cool.

I crashed mine more times than I care to admit during my first few hours of use. It was definitely user error. Now that I’ve learned to control it, I take it on all of my trips for videos (and to show off)
